Last Friday saw a brief shake-up at our local marina when the Mexican Navy’s port administration took temporary control over the docks previously managed by IGY Marinas. The docks were closed off in the morning but were back in business by late afternoon, much to everyone’s relief. The marina, now under the administration officially known as ASIPONA, is conducting a thorough check into the dock leases.
They’re sorting out which leases have run their course and which might be lagging behind on payments.
