Big news for anyone who travels the stretch between Cabo San Lucas and the International airport! The 25.3-mile fourlane is getting a much-needed makeover. Starting sometime this month, this vital artery will undergo repaving and improvements, bringing a sigh of relief to regular commuters and visitors alike.
The project, set to span the entire year, is a significant undertaking. While it’s great news in the long term, it’s bound to bring some short-term changes to your travel plans. With the repairs and maintenance in full swing, expect the journey time to increase. Traffic will likely be heavier and slower – a small price to pay for safer and smoother roads in the future.
On the bright side, the slower traffic might just be a blessing in disguise. With reduced speeds, we can hope for fewer car wrecks, making the route safer for everyone. So, while you plan your trips, remember to factor in a little extra time. Patience will be key during this period of improvement.
