They’ve traveled all the way from Guinea, embarking on a long and challenging journey with a significant destination in mind – the northern border of Mexico. Their goal? To apply for political asylum in the United States.
These travelers have shared with the press that they specifically chose the route through our state because of its reputation for safety.
