At 6:00 pm this Wednesday September 28, two groups will stage a protest in La Paz and Cabo San Lucas to demand better attention to women who want an abortion. This is legal since June this year in our Southern Baja state for women pregnant up to 12 weeks, but several complaints about the lack of proper attention in state health institutions prompted the protest. The gathering sites are outside the Salvatierra Hospital in La Paz and at the Cabo San Lucas government delegation building, next to the Red Cross. Vehicle traffic will be slow in those areas.
