New Hotels Planned for Cabo Pulmo

Investing a tad more than $4 million USD, the project temporarily named East Cape GRE El Rincón will have 2 hotels, 50 residences and villas – 320 rooms total – in a lot of over 153 acres between La Ribera and Cabo Pulmo, on the East Cape. Pulmo, as the locals call it, is a natural reserve, home to the second largest coral reef in America. CEMDA, the ecology minded group has dubbed the project “a threat to Cabo Pulmo.” Stay tuned.
