When Larry Roeseler’s racing car came to a stop due to a mechanical failure, Rbby Gordon stopped to help towing him with a rope for the last six miles. Roseler is a Baja 1000 veteran that has won the race 13 times in the past, more than any other pilot. Gordon has also won three times in 1987, 1989 and 2006. They are friends and fans of each other. The incident was captured on the video below. Over 200 teams finished the race. Rob MacCachren and Luck McMillin won the Trophy Truck category with a record time of 20:45:58 hours. The motorcycle category was won by Mark Samuels, who reached the goal in 23:07:18 hours.
