First came the news that the Solaz resort, located in the Los Cabos corridor shut down unexpectedly due to infrastructure issues that need to be repaired A.S.A.P. There’s no date for reopening. Then the Montage announced that it would also close for remodeling. The latest news is that they will only close from July 25 to September 2, giving its employees an extended vacation. The third resort to also close is the Viceroy in San Jose del Cabo, with its website stating that “Viceroy Los Cabos is not accepting reservations from August 15 through October 9 so that we can complete maintenance and enhancement projects. We hope that you will join us soon!”
