One million Johnson & Johnson vaccines that the U.S. will send to Mexico as a donation, will be used for workers in the tourism industry. The announcement of the federal health authorities said that the first states to receive these will be our Southern Baja state and Quintana Roo, in the Mexican Caribbean (think Cancun and the Mayan Riviera). The object is to avoid returning to high numbers of infections, given that the hotels are welcoming more tourists every month. During the Memorial Day weekend, Los Cabos hotels averaged 68% of rooms occupied. Thank you, USA!
