Not All Building Is On The Corridor

It just seems like it when we’re driving down the road

The Enclaves, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence in Los Cabos, Mexico has announced plans for its second phase of homes, to include 60 condominium Reserve Residences.

Some people never even see the development known as Puerto Los Cabos, because it’s tuacked away on the other side of San Jose. It’s not on the way to anywhere, which is part of its appeal. OK, it’s on the way to Zacatitos, but nobody goes there. (Hold those cards and letters, citizens of Zacatitos, we’re just yanking your chain).

Puerto Los Cabos is a marina, a golf course, a mega size hotel, and some fancy housing. It attracts the kind of people who used to buy in the Pedregal until that slipped out of control of the HOA and pretty much out of control.

The Reserve hotel and residences known as the Enclaves are the latest $430 million undertaking by Puerto Los Cabos developer Grupo Questro, the most prolific developer in southern Baja. The Reserve hotel will open next October, with delivery of homes to follow “shortly”.

The Enclaves will feature 27 single family Ritz Carlton Reserve branded homes priced from $4 million and to be known as West Enclave. With nearly 50 percent of the initial phase sold, the just announced condominium phase will feature 60 Ritz-Carlton Reserve branded condominiums.

Puerto Los Cabos is big, with many different clusters of residences, mostly single family homes, built along the golf course and along three miles of beaches.

Being a Ritz-Carlton branded property basically means all of the services of the nearby resort including a dedicated concierge, priority access to hotel accommodations and amenities, along with a la carte services such as in-home chef services and housekeeping, are available to the homeowners. You live in your private home but you are serviced by the staff at the hotel.

The Reserve hotel is scheduled to open in late 2017 along with the 27 West Enclave single-family homes, both of which are well underway with construction. They’re now taking names, with reservations expected to start in early second quarter.

These 27 villas each feature a combined 10,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor living space, modern architecture with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Sea of Cortez, a double kitchen finished with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and granite countertops. The four and five bedroom residences with indoor/outdoor stone showers, massage gardens, an entertainment room, service room with 3/4 bathroom, two powder rooms, and an array of technology stitching the whole thing together.

Outdoor amenities include more than 4,000 square feet of outdoor living space complete with a private swimming pool and spa, covered living and dining area with bar, fireplace and BBQ, courtyard, fire pit, two golf cart parking spaces and a two-car garage.

The project includes the 120 room Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotel that will be surrounded by 125 Ritz-Carlton branded residences.

The sales office for the Enclaves is located at Paseo de los Pescadores in San José. For more information, check out or call 011+52 (624)105 6047 .
