H+ Hospital shares its blood bank with every hospital that needs it, so this is one stop giving.
The entire community depends on the foreign community for much of the blood because the Americans and Canadians have more of a culture of giving blood. You know the drill. You know it doesn’t hurt you, nor damage you, and that the cookies and juice at the end are usually pretty darn tasty.
Right now the Los Cabos area is really, really short of blood, so won’t you swing by and give less than two hours of your time and a baggie of blood?
As a bonus, you get acquainted with H+ Hospital. That’s the hospital that’s out on the fourlane, towards San Jose, next to the Pemex at km 24.5. It’s big, modern, and a good place to know. Just in case.
And don’t fill up on the free cookies, because afterwards, you can eat at the newly opened market which is that corrugated metal building in front of the hospital. Inside it’s a two story market with dozens of stalls with food from pizza to an oyster bar. There’s even a brewery.
