Simon, a deeply religious man living in the 4th century, wants to be nearer to God so he climbs a column. The Devil wants him to come down to Earth and is trying to seduce him. May 24. Thursday. 7:00 pm.  That Obscure Object of Desire (Ese Oscuro Objeto del Deseo). (1977). Comedy, Drama. Directed by L. Buñuel. Fernando Rey plays a wealthy, obsessive freaky man who falls in love with a beautiful Spanish maiden, played in some scenes by Carole Bouquet, in others by Angela Molina (Why two actresses?
