CULTURAL PAVILION

October 1 to 22. 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Rural Interaction Exhibition. In the Pavilion’s cinema room. Spanish with help in English. Free.

October 17. 8:00 pm. Chango Spasiuk and his group from Argentina, winners of the World Music Awards of the BBC of London. Tickets are $8 USD, $3 for students with an ID, available at the Pavilion’s offices.

October 19. 6:00 pm. Luna Itzel in Concert. Mexican music written and sung by Luna Iztel. Guest artists in attendance. Spanish with some help in English.

October 21 and 22. Saturday, 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Sunday, 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The Beauty and The Beast – The Musical. By Henry Lopez Studio. Spanish. More info and tickets at the Pavilion office.

October 25. 9:30 am. We Are Los Cabos. Presentation of a video/song original adaptation of Michael Jackson’s “We Are The World.” The video will be presented at the Pavilion for all audience and distributed on Facebook and YouTube at the same time. Spanish and English. Free. 

October 27. 8:00 pm. Carmelo Torres and his Sabanera Cumbia, traditional music from Colombia. Spanish with help in English. Tickets are $8 USD, $3 for students with an ID, available at the Pavilion’s offices, and at Macondo Book Store (upstairs from La Europea in San Lucas Plaza).

November 8 to 12. 6th annual Los Cabos International Film Festival. Opening gala with international nominees’ movies will be there with international recognized personalities. 

Every Thursday. 7:00 pm. Pavilion’s Movie Club. A different movie every Thursday. Sometimes in English, sometime other languages with Spanish subtitles. October is the Italian movies month. English or Italian with Spanish subtitles. Free.

October 19. 7:00 pm. Mediterranean (1991). In WWII, an Italian Army unit of misfits occupies an isolated Greek island, but soon realize the island’s citizens have merely gone into hiding after believing they were under German attack.

October 26. 7:00 pm. Cinema Paradiso (1988). This Italian comedy drama is based on the life and times of screenwriter/director Giuseppe Tornatore.

Starting October 28. Every Saturday. 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Arts exhibits, live music, children’s workshops. Free entrance. At the Cabo marina, next to Solomon’s Landing restaurant. Spanish with some help in English. Free.
